Was chasing a cooling issue back in early July and was diagnosed as either a clogged drier filter or the TXV needing replaced. I hired Ahlers to go ahead and replace both on 7/8/25. That did seem to improve the cooling performance. This past week around the first cold snap, started using the heater and noticed the outdoor unit would only run for 10 minutes at a time before faulting and we would wake up to a cold house. Determined that it was significantly overcharged with refrigerant when the Ahlers technician completed the repair work.

Ahlers Heating and Air is always my first choice. They never disappoint. Gino Aguilar was on time, very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and repaired my Air Conditioner at a fair price. They are a great company!

I am not giving a 5 star only because of what previously happened. We purchased an AC from Ahlers Heating and Air back in 2021. We have had problems every since. Our Air condition just went our 2 weeks ago. I called Ahlers because we were supposed to have a 10 year warranty on it that we paid for back in 2021. The only record they had was a service call after we purchased it but it was only the name. The had no record of us purchasing the AC our information was no where in the system. The rep that sold us the unit told us we did not have to do anything with the warranty they would set it up. Well they didn't. Ahlers had no record we were fixing to be some very upset people. When I contacted Ahlers I left a message and Chuck called me back. He had his tech Jeremy dispatched out to my house within 30 min. Jeremy came in and found out that the previous techs did not install the unit correctly nor our vents. Unfortunately, do to them not having any records of us purchasing the unit we had to pay for the labor and the freon. Jeremy worked his butt off fixing my AC, Chuck worked with us on everything else since we did have record of the quote and the service call.. I was hell bent on not working with them anymore but with the Customer service that Chuck and Jeremy gave us. I would call them back and recommend Ahlers. The techs who sold us the AC no longer works there so they had a revamp in the company. I can see why and I am glad the did. If not we would still have issues. If you need AC help call and speak with either Chuck or Jeremy as they are Awesome.

Roger was great! We only needed a slight adjustment which he fixed quickly. It's so nice to have dependable AC company you can count on to only fix what you need without piling on additional unnecessary costs. This company is run so well I asked the owner if he would buy a car repair and landscape company so I could dump the losers I'm currently dealing with.

I can’t thank this team enough. After being told by another company that I needed a full compressor replacement and ductwork — totaling nearly $3,000 for a 4 years old unit— I reached out for a second opinion. Jeremy came out, quickly diagnosed the real issue (a clogged filter-drier), and fixed it at a fraction of the cost. The system has been working perfectly ever since. Everyone I dealt with was professional, honest, and responsive — especially Ashley, who made the whole process smooth and easy. No upselling, no scare tactics — just real expertise and integrity.
